It makes us more creative and efficient.
It inspires us to do things in a big way, not just in small touches in the office, but everywhere.
She, Mother Nature, our muse, whom we happily copy in our studio, because she's not easily transportable, but whom we lovingly preserve wherever she flourishes, even if this is a contradiction in terms when we're doing something artificial.

CALCULATE OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT.
HONESTLY
We may say ‘I love you’ to the blue planet, but we are well aware that producing artificial plants is inevitably a source of pollution.
We have therefore calculated Tanaman's environmental impact each year by identifying our main sources of CO2 emissions in order to reduce them as much as possible and offset what cannot be reduced.
The aim is to have a neutral overall impact on the environment and a brighter smile!

REDUCE AND COMPENSATE FOR IT
REALLY.
Following our carbon audit, we decided to offset our CO2 emissions, which cannot be reduced even with a potato masher, by taking positive action for the climate, biodiversity and social well-being.
But as we're in ch'nord and reforestation projects are more in ch'sud and, what's more, we're not foresters, we've chosen to get involved with the NGO WeForest since 2018.
Each to his own trade and the trees are well cared for, but that doesn't mean we can't be proud of them.

TRULY.
With our carbon footprint about to become neutral, we thought, let's roll up our sleeves and do more!
It's all very well to recreate extraordinary spaces in offices, but it's no good if you can't protect the originals. So since January we've been working alongside the Naturevolution association, which is working on the marvellous island of Sulawesi in Indonesia to preserve and protect its beaches from plastic pollution and restore the coral reefs that are essential to biodiversity.

OBVISOULY
We make beautiful things here too. Our artificial plants are assembled in our workshop in France, near Lille.
Our pots are made in Europe, and although our plants still come from Asia, it won't be long before they come from Europe too. We'll be the happiest!
What else is there to say? We've banned disposable coffee cups and tumblers, everyone has their own water bottle, we talk about homemade laundry recipes at lunchtime, and veggie dumplings at coffee break, and with two Iraqi collaborators, you might as well say that the recipes are worth it. 🙂
